There are 4 prizes up for grabs:
1 x full-length collection contract with Broken Sleep Books and £250.
1 x mentorship towards a full collection with Broken Sleep Books, and £250 (low socioeconomic status entrants only).
2 x highly commended entrants will receive a Dà Mhìle whisky gift set.
Please upload either a word document or PDF in size 10 Palatino Linotype or Times New Roman font. Minimum of 45 pages, maximum of 90 pages. A4. Entrants may enter more than one manuscript at £10/£5 per entry. No title page or contents page to be included in the manuscript.
• Simultaneous submissions are allowed but must be withdrawn if accepted elsewhere. Entry fees will not be refunded.
• Translations are ineligible, as are collaborative works.
• Entrants may enter from anywhere in the world, there are no geographic limits.
• All work must be original and your own. Over 50% of the manuscript must be previously unpublished in journals, magazines, etc.
• There is a an entry fee of £10/£5 for each manuscript. This fee helps to run the competition, and to potentially make it a yearly initiative.
• Entries open September 1st and close October 31st
